• We collect what we need to run the marketplace, and nothing to sell.
• Your request’s summary is public; private details and private files are shared only with the maker you match with.
• We never sell your personal information.

• Account: your name, email address, and profile details you add (headline, bio, location, skills, portfolio).
• What you post: requests, briefs, offers, questions, messages, files, links, deliveries and reviews.
• Payments: amounts and status. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
• Technical: sign-in sessions, basic device and browser information, and records of important actions (for security and to resolve disputes).
• Scout: the questions you ask, to answer them and improve the guide.

• To run Ourmade: showing requests, matching, messaging, payments and notifications.
• To shape your request into a brief — including automated processing of what you write.
• To keep the marketplace safe: preventing fraud, reviewing reports and resolving disputes.
• To send emails you need (sign-in links, offers, deliveries, decisions).
• To understand how the product is used, so we can improve it.

• Anyone: your request’s title, summary, deliverables, budget and deadline; maker profiles and reviews; your first name as the poster.
• Signed-in makers: files you mark “visible before matching”.
• Your maker (after you match): your private details, all your files, your messages.
• Our team: may review a match, its files and messages when handling a report, dispute or security issue.

We use trusted providers for hosting, the database, file storage, email and payments. They process data only on our behalf and under agreements that protect it. We may share information if the law requires it or to protect people from harm.

We use a small number of cookies that are needed for the site to work: keeping you signed in, remembering your light/dark choice and, in demo versions, your demo access. We don’t use advertising cookies.

We keep your account information while your account is open. Records of matches, payments and disputes are kept as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited time.

You can view and edit most of your information in your account. You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account by emailing hello@ourmade.co. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.

Ourmade is for people 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.
